Delhi, MohaNnagar, RajNagar Extension , Muradnagar, Modinagar, Merut, Bijnor, Kotdwar. The road in bold areas is worse, probably only a SUV has ground clearance for them. Though the by pass from Meerut will help you to avoid city congestion else be prepared to spend about two hours more in total journey time. Moreover there are no sign boards for bypass and directions and if they exist they are not in readable state. The mobile works fine till Kotdwar but in Lansdowne only BSNL CellOne works however sometimes our Dolphin was able to receive incomings.

I am just back after a 2 days trip from LANSDOWN. In real words it is a hidden treasure of NATURE. Unspoiled, Unexplored destination. It’s the nearest hill station to Delhi. Lansdown has scenic beauty that you will miss in all the other hill-stations which has swarming tourists. Lansdown is far away from all the noise pollution of metropolitan cities. But be cautious about the landslides that happens often during rainy season. Don’t forget to pack your Umbrella as it’s a place where anytime you can face rains.  The most important thing never try to be adventurous too much as some of the roads are narrow abandoned and haunted. If you are lost then it is better to ask an Army men or the localite for the way otherwise it’s a possibility you can be misguided by a lost soul that can in turn risk your life with extreme situations. Especially the road next to Church near Tip and Top  seems like quite broad for car to go but later on its too narrow to slide your car down. It is even called as suicide point but no measures have succeeded to avoid people going there by barrier or mandir etc…  So just do not take any road with your car, better always prefer coal tar road instead of concrete ones.

The place is real heavenly n must go type. CHILL n ENJOY
