I recently went to Costco, (a huge Super Market chain), and saw a new brand of spread, in the food part of the store, called, Land O Lakes Fresh Buttery Taste Spread.
I had seen the ads, that say, ''Land O Lakes Fresh Buttery Taste Spread, where goodness begins''.
I had tried their butter before, so I wasn't worried about trying their spread.
:The Container::
The container is plastic, and is round. If you've seen their butter it is a taller than that container.
On the bottom of the container, there is a medium blue strip that tells you what it is.
Like all Land Lakes products there is a scene with a lake surrounded by trees, and a lady sitting in the centre, holding a container.
The tube holds 453 grams, and I bought it for $2.50 CAD.
::The Spread::
When I opened the container the spread looked like a soft butter. I spread it on some toast, and if you had put a bandana around my eyes, and asked me what I was eating, I would have said, ''butter''!
I could taste a nutty flavour with a slight tangy back note.
After I used it, I did what the instructions were and put it into my refrigerator, so it wouldn't go rancid.
::What Can You Use IT For::
You can use it as a replacement for butter, to cook, bake or use on bread or muffins.
::The Company::
The Company is base in the State called ''the land of Lakes'', Minnesota, USA. They opened their firs dairy in 1921.In 1990 they copied the French Chefs in making a new American butter, similar to the sweet butter in France.
You can buy there butter and spread in many Countries, Worldwide. They make a lot of other products and if you want to see them, the url is:

The is 8 grams of fat, (mostly butter but a little sweet cream), 1.5 grams of saturated fat, (canola oil), 3 % of sodium and 10% of Vitamin A. There is no cholesterol, carbohydrates, fibre, protein or sugar.

::My Conclusion::
It has fewer calories than butter, and less bad fats that are in margarine. Costco is an hours drive from my home, so I can't buy it as often as I would like to.
