I actually bought this album through one of the most confusing hours of my life!! Sounds overdramatic, I know, but how would you like it if you were sitting through, the movie Lakshya and you realised, oh my god, who do I like better between Hritik Roshan and Shahid Kapur?? How would you like it if you're whole time in the cinema hall was spent pondering over something as big as that!!! Hritik or Shahid? Shahid or Hritik? Hritik or Shahid? Shahid or Hritik?
OK, mere dil ki baat choro, getting back to the subject; I decided that to soothe my aching heart, I had to buy the Lakshya Album, simple as that. Unfortunately, at that critical stage in my life, I realised I actually had no money to spare! So, what do I do? Basically, I do what I'm best at....Emotional Blackmail!!! So I sidle up to my friend Raj, and start on my dukh bhari kahani. Even, if he doesnt believe a word of it, at least I can bore him to death with my talking! I tend to do that to people!
I haven't got halfway through my kahani, when he just goes Ok Ok, Meri Ma, What Do You Want? This is the part when my eyes fill with fake tears, and I start on another dukh bhari kahani about how I don't have the Lakshya Album. He just thrusts a fiver in my hand, to save him from listening to me for another 45 minutes, and in return, he gets a hug and I tell him he can come over to mine any time to listen. He sighs, and closes the door in my face!
Mission Accomplished!!!

Track 1 - Main Aisa Kyon Hoon
This song just has an irresistible beat to it, which just makes you tap or click to it. The music is great as always by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Great style of hypno music and minimal rock is used. The music is very dreamy, almost floaty. The song has been sung well by Shaan, but then again that is no change from usual. The lyrics are to be commended, and are not to be critisized. They are just your average https://lyrics. This song is great if you want to let out the whole days frustrations. Just bung yourself into a chair, take a few deep breaths and listen to this song.

This song is a beautiful song, sung wonderfully by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. I love the way the song has been made into a jumble of questions and answers and has an absolutely adorable melody. The guy is basically trying his best to impress the girl, and obviously not succeeding until the end.

This is my second favourite song of the album. This is such a romantic song, full of feeling and emotion, regret and sorrow. Full of questions, with no answers. Full of memories, full of thoughts. It has been sung so beautifully by Sadhna Sargam and Hariharan. The lyrics are just amazing and this is just such a heartfelt song.

This is a very powerful song, sung wonderfully by Shankar Mahadevan. This is a very inspirational song, and just make your spirit rise. It is not weak, but has a very strong, straightforward feeling to it. It wakes up this inside you to go and do something worthy, and the lyrics are very awakening and strong.

This is my favourite song of the whole album. This is a very inspirational song and just makes you so proud of the soldiers who ever go to war. They do not think negatively, but think very positively. The lyrics are amazing and this song is really a team effort. It is sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Hariharan, Roopkumar Rathod, Kunal Ganjawala and Vijay Prakash

The instrumentals of Seperation and Victory are both very good. Victory, in particular has a very grand feel to it, a very proud feel.
This is a very good album by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and I loved it to bits.
