Luscious lakme lips!. Review on Lakme Lip Makeup

Hi guys! Lakme lipstick is one of my favourite brands recently. I haven?t used more than 1 before. I used Gala and Revlon. They were satisfactory. I had lakme some brown shade long back which I don?t remember. I never use lipstick for more than a year so I make sure I don?t buy more than 2 for a year. So after long time I have got lakme lipstick as a gift. The shade is ?truly teak? and let me tell you its amazing. The colour is very much like base colour with a hint of peach and pink. I cant really define it but when you apply it definitely looks better than just base, it looks a bit pinkish and what is important is that it looks rich and shining. It?s a moisture base creamy lipstick and amazing for daily wear. Goes with light as well as bright colour of your dress. Goes very well on white and black too!

About time- you can wear it for day time as well as night wear if in night you are wearing some blacks, white or dull colour ? it does not go on bright colours at night.

Skin type ? suits fair and wheatish complexion, mine is wheatish more to fair ;) it suits me. A bit more lighter and it wont suit me. No idea whether it suits dark, I guess it wont.

You can also use this on bright shade to lessen the bright- I don?t know how far this helps, but I do this. If a lip colour is too bright (say red, dark maroon) it not only lightens but also gives effect of gloss

The package is in usual lakme brand colour of green with wide tube cover and lipstick in slant cut for ease of application. I don?t know the price but whatever it is its worth it. Liked the shade a lot. Give it a try and you wont repent. Guys there, give it as gift ;) you will find your girl with luscious lips ;)
