The products of lakme are somewhat ok to indian customers . I am a constant user of lakme products and I find the Quality of all lakme products ok. But one thing that is always shocking is the price. Every time I visit to buy some or the other lakme products they keep changing and the impact is huge. In the sense 2 months back if the product is price about 120 bucks , current range will be 160 or somewhat like that.
And one more thing, I dont fine companys MFRG - Price on any of these products. Either lipstick, Eyeliner or Lip gloss or even Compact powders.
The shop keeper can easily fool me around. I mean to say if the product is very old stock which he has with him , he can even charge the same price of current market rate. I really dont understand why a company like lakme doesnt put its price tag on its products. The lipsticks, the powder, the nail polishes dont have price tag at all.
Some nail polishes are also not given for sample trying and when asked the shop keeper tells that the company is not giving. And they try to resell the same stuff, of which half of it would be consumed by others who have done sample testing, but he charges us the full price.
But seeing all this , its really difficult to say that I but have to be said..that is very discouraging to buy lakme products any more.
After reading though the Salons issues given of the same company - it has scared me off and I swear nobody would every go to buy in...for salons..
its really important to maintain the same quality of service for companies when they are growing otherwise they lose to competitors soon...er.
