First of all a big thanks to Mouthshut as the reviews here made me buy lakme magic.I have been in this quest for a foundation that suits my skin tone which seemed almost impossible.Whenever I get something its always either pale or too dark.So I buy that and come home and cry.I have tried maybelline, revlon, max factor and its the same story.I found the exact shade in mac but the price 1500 rupees was not what I exactly have in my mind.
So last time when I was in India, I decided to trust the mouthshut reviews about Lakme and bought one jar of it. It was the shade that was meant for wheatish to dusky skin and it was okay.made me look a bit dark though I had gone to a small store to get it.So no trials and it was as I said okay.
When I was getting ready to leave India, I decided to buy one more jar and I went to Style Plus this time and bought one jar in the shade for wheatish skin as per the recommendation and returned home.I tried it on and voila!Beautiful beautiful base with no paleness, powdery feeling and colour difference.Its the exact shade of my skin and looks great on me.So I settled on that!
But there is something in Lakme that I am not satisfied about!The texture.It might be oil free but does that mean it has to be so watery.I ove the texture of Max factor's age renew.Lakme runs out fast too.
Anyway it is a steal for that price and I love it,
