Lakme has introduced this range of lip color for all those who are like me and end up eating up all their lip color. As the name suggests, it stays for the entire day.

I am usually a very bright lipstick user. I love all the pinks and oranges and bright red, however, I wanted a subtle lip color for my office presentation days. I wanted something that would stay on my lips for longer than usual and I don’t have to worry about the lip color in the middle of the presentations and meetings. I ordered the Lakme 9 to 5 Matte Lip Color: brownie point.

This lip color looks so cute with its bronze/golden-ish body and a cute small size. It is super travel friendly, as it can fit into my make u pouch very easily. Though it is Matte but it is very moisturizing too. I already have brown lips(hereditary), so one application of this lip color was more than enough for me. They are quite pigmented.

It didn’t stay for 9-5 but yes it was great because it stayed on for more than 4 hours for me, which is quite commendable. Jumping to the shade I purchased(Brownie point) it is more of the brown-ish professional lip color shade. It worked quite well for my meetings and presentation at work. However, this shade isn’t something I would use on a daily basis.

Quickly let’s see the Pros and Cons of this product:

Pros

It has a wide range of shades – I believe they have at least 15 shades in this range.

Matte and it is not like the other matte lip colors wherein it becomes chappy.

It is easily available on online stores and Lakme Outlets.

Travel friendly, because of the size.

Cons

It doesn’t stay from 9 to 5.

I find it a little over priced.

I am now going to try the Pink Ambition, Vermillion Fired and Sorbet Tuesday.
