Shocking incident @clubmahindra , Tungi Lonavla.
We checked in on 27th August 2019 and our check out day was today that is 30th August.
Most of our holiday was spent well, except for the last night at the resort. It turned out to be a nightmare. I was traveling with my husband and kids, I have a girl who is 7 years old and a son who is 10 years old. Together with the kids and my husband after having finished our packing (as we had to check out the next day) we went to bed around 11.00 pm. Between 2.45 in the night my husband saw a silhouette of a man wearing a black jacket inside the room. In a state of utter panic he woke up and loudly shouted at robber. That robber ran with a lightning speed through our hall balcony in to the forest. My husband ran behind him. That robber had worn safety shoes and my husband was bare foot so he couldn't catch him. It is a very traumatic experience to wake up and find a stranger in ones room. It made us feel very unsafe and none of us could sleep. My husband and I were relieved to know that our kids were safe but we had been robbed. The night watchmen and duty mAnasultangers came to meet us. My husband's feet were badly injured as he had followed the robber into the forest barefooted. When we are holidaying Club Mahindra campuses or resorts we are under the wrong impression that we are safe and secure. I urge fellow club mahindra member to take care of their belongings and lock all the doors carefully. We were lucky that we just lost cash of Rs.10000 which I had withdrawn on the day I had checked into Tungi, Mahindra resorts and had no injuries or fatalities. We all four of us are still in a trauma due to this incident.
After this incident happened to us we talked to Duty mAnasultanger Mr. Amol Patil and Mr. Arun CM. The only thing we expected from them that a mail regarding the incident happened with us in Club Mahindra, Tungi premises. We wanted a word of nhassurance and apology from them, that they will look into this matter deeply and take care, that it won't happen again. Since we still haven't recieved any mail from them regarding this issue.
Inspite of this traumatic incident happened to us we never demanded any money or any compensation for damage.
