The human mind is an interesting concoction of emotions, feelings and those millions of thoughts that keep freewheeling around. Movies have a specific intention and a target and that's the human mind, the larger the movie connects … the more popular ! Then comes the originality of the script, the technical aspects .. etc.

Lage Raho has excelled in the first part, it connects well to the entire strata of the audience across all demographies, so much that one dosent bother with the little anomalies it brings along.

Raju Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra had a successful Munnabhai MBBS and rather than continuing from where they left off they shifted it to a higher plane. The movie is targeted more with a concept of a series than that of a sequel. They have smartly banked on the success of Munnabhai and Circuit the two lovable gangsters. Here they tackle a bigger social issue or as they mention in the corporate world "They are looking at the bigger picture at around 10,000 feet J". Having tackled the hospitality ..oops hospital related problems, now they shift to corruption.

Bringing the father of the nation to the fore has always established a preconceived notion of being preachy to today's youth and that's what interests in this movie, the message of non violence is conveyed subtly but clearly and without being preachy.. in fact with a generous dose of humor.

Sanjay Dutt continues from where he left off in Munnabhai MBBS but has shown more restraint here in this movie. Circuit a.k.a Arsha Warsi is affable and keeps improving every time we see him. Boman shows different shades of grey and plays a Punjabi builder to the hilt. Vidya balan seems to have lady luck always with her and this is her back to back hit movie. Though the level of acting and histrionics required in this movie are much lower than Parineeta, she does what's supposed to do … look pretty and have an endearing screen presence.

This movie is definitely watchable and that too not just once, but the problem is some minor anomalies which stand out like small dark spots on an unblemished face like .. the concept of Worldspace shown like an FM radio is not easily digestible.

Having ensured Gandhigiri spreads across the nation, did the music director and the producer step back and see how beautifully the Cliff Richard song "Theme for a dream" was lifted straight away into “Pal har pal”. So much for emulating Gandhi on that !!!!
