I think thats the idea behind the whole movie as well. Rajkumar Hirani has not only created a great entertainer but has also been successful in giving a message to the society in a form everybody understands - comedy.
I dont know if Gandhi was right or wrong but most of his idologies are interesting and has infact brought major changes in our history. Nobody actually follows them nowadays. As truly stated in the film, the Mahatma is no more then just a frame on the wall of Government buildings.If you had checked NDTV on 15th of August, you must have seen the interviews of few of our MPs in Delhi, including the BJP spokesperson, who couldnt even tell Gandhiji's full nameand there attitude was like they couldnt care less.
I never really thought about Gandhi's ideologies.but after watching this film I am compelled to think.
Apart from a brilliant performance by the whole crew, I think Arshad Warsi deserves a standing ovation.He is too good.Simply hillarious...
With a blend of good music, great performance and the recipe of comedy trying to convey a message to the society - Lage Raho Munna Bhai - is nodoubt a hit.
