After “Band Baja Baarat” Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma are back again in Ladies V/S Ricky Behal. This is 2nd movie of Ranveer Singh with the same lead heroine Anushka Sharma, the same Yashraj Banner, the same Music Director Salim-Sulaiman. This group has already gifted us a super hit like BBB. And this time also we all are expecting the same magic from them.
Well, Music album of this movie has been released on 9th Nov’2011. The hit Jodi Salim-Sulaiman gave the music. Amitabh Bhattacharya (AB) gives Lyrics. Now let’s talk about the music of this movie. This album contains 7 songs along with 2 remixes and 1 instrumental.
Aadat Se Majburis the first song of this album. Benny Dayal gives his voice to this song. Lyrics of this song are justifying the title of the movie as the song is reflecting the image of a playboy and Ranveer’s performance as a playboy is simply rocking in the video which is now running across all the music channels. It’s a perfect dance number to move your legs at the Dance Floor. And very surprisingly Ranveer Singh himself sang the Rap portion. Tempo of this song is equally high through out the song. This song is already a hit. However remix is not as good as the original.
Jazbais next track of the album. Shilpa Rao gave her beautiful voice for the song. Music and lyrics of the song will lead you to another world with full of Jazbaand motivation. Remix of this song is not as good as the original. The remix version was sung by Anushaka Manchanda. Real magic and feel of the original song is not present in the remix. So you can skip the remix and listen the original song. They tried to create another tarkeebein tarkeebein but could not create the same magic.
Thug Lesong is a with Punjabi touch. Vishal Dadlani & Shweta Pandit gave their voice in this song. This is a teasing song where boys and girls try to take the lead over each other. Lyrics and Music are not like something different but quite catchy as a dance number. Overall it’s a quite nice song.
Jigar Da Tukdais a Punjabi number but somehow Punjabi Masti is missing somewhere. Salim Merchant and Shraddha Pandit gave their magical voice to the song. All over it’s a song with full of fun & masti. So just listen it for some masti..!!! So let's do some Bhangra ...;)All over It's a quite likable song.
Fatal Attraction is an instrumental attraction in this album. The music is really good and they tried to make it somewhat sensual. Fast & slow music in between is very good.
Aadat se Majboor& Jazbaare the highlights of this album & my favorite too !!!
All over this album have good songs with good music. I’ll give 3.
