Hum to aisse hai bhaiya. whenever U go for a Yashraj movie u go tend to go with lot of expectations unfortunately the production house is not able to justify their legacy. It is said that u should always stick to your strengths in whatever you do and you will succeed. But unfortunately Yashraj has been trying to move from the mushy land to the Ghats of Benares.Anyways the movie starts rolling with the tale of the Sahay family through the song hum to aisse hai bhaiya. which is one of the few silver linings of the movie. The filming of the pilgrim city reminds of Ray who had done his Joybaba Felunath on the same Ghats.though the technology has changed leaps and bounds but still credit should go to the technicians.
The story is about the two siblings Vibhavari and Subhavari who are distinctly different though they have the same values but different outlook towards their lives.the Sahay family is crippled with huge Debts and also under the pressure of managing a mansion which is high on Maintenance. Her father Mr.Sahay(Kher) is also fighting a battle for ownership of the mansion with his own brother(Tinu Anand) who threatens of legal consequences through his son(sushant).Looking at all this problem our protagonist(Rani) decides to jump and tries to save the family .She reaches Bombay for search of a Job and finally ends up with a METRO style BPO manager who appraises people only in the bed .
Still under family pressure and a ailing father she decides to hang on and take life head on with the help of a friend and ends up becoming a high profile Esc*rt.Once to a journey in the flight she meets this man(Abhishek) who likes her middle class values and falls for her.In the meantime the younger one (Konkana) completes her MBA and lands up in the town for working in an ad agency. But with her punchlines and simple looks , she bowls the burger munching creative Director( Karan) out .Will she come to know about her sisters identity.?Will the family except the elder one?Catch all this and more.
Notes on Similarities between Parineet and Laga chunari:Mr.Sarkar has got some fetish for older woman or had a hidden age old desire to cast Hemaji and Rekha in his movies?(thus giving a footage in both the movies. )
