Last week for securing housing loan for my nephew, he along with me and his parents approached LIC Housing finance located at Indira nagar, Bangalore.
It was a very pleasant & fruitful experience.
The branch manager Ms. Shailaja was very patient in explaining the options and answering many of our queries.
In the first meeting she explained the process with help of check lists. Also she gave advice based on experiences of earlier customers on tenure of loan, loan amount, pre closure etc.
In the next week, submitted all the documents earlier asked by her in the check list .
She scrutinised these documents thoroughly and patiently.
Then after ensuring they were in order, she would act promptly for getting approval since we requested quick approval as my nephew was scheduled to leave the country.
She assured the loan would be sanctioned within 10 days or so.
The whole experience was pleasant & professional.
I had to change my opinion that all the government service organisations are slack in service. There are a few pockets of excellence it appears
