I'VE had this phone since December 2004 and I must say it's still in good shape. I've used it a lot in the past few years with me and have come to appreciate it as well as dislike it.
I will analyze this phone point by point for you
1.) Battery
When I purchased the phone it used to last me a week on standby, but by now it lasts hardly 2 days without a charge. I haven't changed the battery yet, It still has the original battery. But battery time is still very less for any meaningful work to be done. Some people may find it too less. I don;t know about the newer versions though. My comment on the battery is that it is too inadequate and more is required.
2.) Features
THe phone was very cheap for a camera phone at the time I purchased it. So it was excellent value for money at the time. But now I don't think so. The competition has seriously better models and this phone may be badly outdated now. It has features like
Camera with 4x digital zoom
Fun frames
Flash(too weak)
Special Effects(B&W)
(all the above are camera features)
does not have video recording
THe phone cannot play truetones ringtones. The phone is still heavily dependent on R world for content. I does not have wap 2.0(xHTML) which is sorely required.
Frankly speaking I am quite bored of this phone.
I would not recommend anybody to purchase it though because there are much better models available out there.
The one very good thing about this phone is that it has excelent Durability. My Phone has gone to the service center only once and that too due to my fault. So I will give it full marks as far as durability is concerned. This phone has a very Bad user Interface or operating system. I cannot even forward SMS's more han 140 characters long. I do not recommend this phone at all!
