I bought this Microwave by paying 13, 990 on 27-11-07 and it stopped working on 30-11-08 just 3 days after the warranty period. It never really worked and I barely used it. I called up customer service and the guy turned up the next day with a magnetron as if he know what has gone faulty without me telling him the problem. He opened the microwave and replaced it and wow it started working.
The one which was inside the machine was China made and replaced on was Korean, when I asked him why he said they have two plants one in China and other in Korea. He billed me Rs.1002 and tried convincing me to go for extended warranty by paying 750 bucks when I said no he warned me that any part can go faulty any time and if the PCB goes I will have to shed another 1500 bucks.
I am planning to approach the consumer forum and my sincere advised to the fellow readers "Never ever buy an LG product" LG SUCKS.
