I bought an LG 422 LTS FROST FREE fridge on 28 Oct 2011 and it's started giving me issues in the first summer. The ice doesn't come out of the ice trays despite repeated attempts. Infact their engineers have come thrice and they have not been able to take the ice out. In the fridge section, water bottles don't cool well and if I put cucumber and bottle gourd (kheera and lauki) it becomes ice the next day. Their customer care is rude, engineers have no information and are not willing to listen to you. They only care about checking a box in their form. We even tried escalating to engineers boss (Sandip) who was worst and did not even hear me out and screamed back that he cannot help and if this is so imp (ice) why didn't I call him when his engineer had come visiting.
I'm a sr citizen (74 yrs) and my friends have the same problem and it's very disappointing and disheartening that I spent my hard earned and old age money on this product and this is the level of service we have received. We've spoken to Rajesh Sharma (engineer) who insists we write a good report despite all this and his boss Sandip who was worst off. Clearly there are several manufacturing defects, however they are not willing to listen as when we call they simply yell that we can't help you and we don't know how to make ice though their engineers have come to my house and done it themselves.
I'm super disappointed and would recommend never to buy any LG product as their products are crap and service super crap
