I Purchased LG refrigerator (Capapcity 422 ltrs) on 17 July 2011 from Reliance Digital at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The installation engineer while unpacking the product found that one of the bottle tray cracked. He mentioned this in the installation report as well.
Ever since then I have been following up with both Reliance digital and LG to replace the tray. LG engieer visited my house twice. Both the time they did not bring a replacement. They came asked about the problem, took photos with their mobile phone of the damaged product, called up their service centre manager, asked for inventory check on the product, it was confirmed by the manager that the item code is in the inventory. Still the replacement has not happened yet. I have visited Reliance Digital twice, they made tall promises but so far nothing has worked for me.
LG went to an extent of closing my complaint reference number mentioning that the replacement was done. Which was more than shocking. How can a brand like LG falsely close a complaint.
I am aghast to know that they do not have a tray in stock for more than two months now. How can this happen with a respected name like LG electronics.
If you want to buy LG product (refrigerator) be careful. You can be the one who would have to run after them for after sale service. Some times, their staff is quite rude and high-headed. They treat a customer like nothing and behave as if they are doing us a favor by listening to us in case of issues with the products.
