I have used this for 1 year and am writing this review knowing well the pros and cons. This Luxury fridge which costs about 1 lakh is very elegant and eye catching. But the darker side comes once you buy it. The service person demands 2500 rupees to make modifications to make the water and ice dispenser work. It won't be mentioned before you buy. The LG service will try to mobilize you to take 14, 000 rupees additional warranty for 4 yrs, Don't fall for it.
The service person says that for each service request after warranty period of 1 yr, we have to pay 2000 rupees + addl cost per visit. The reason being the fridge is so costly, if you can pay for it, why not for service visit. He says service visits are based on the cost of the product. He also said that only the compressor is covered under addl warranty and there is an addl electronic panel which is very vulnerable which costs around 15, 000 rupees + service charges, if something goes wrong. These information you wont know before buying, so kindly be prepared for all these before indulging in this luxury.
Also though the fridge looks massive half the side is freezer, which is less useful for Indian society and waste of electricity power. I made mistake buying this luxury, other be aware.
