This phone is terrible and I am sorry I ever bought it. I have had to restore factory defaults twice now. If you search online, there is a very common issue with the battery life due to some variety of software glitch. It causes my phone to heat up like crazy and have a battery life of about 5-7 hours. It randomly occurs. You lose all your saved documents unless you are backing up. You also lose all your customization.
Additionally, many of the features don't work. The knock on feature is a joke/gimmick that really isn't effective. Quiet mode doesn't work and has caused me to miss several important phone calls because my phone gets stuck in silent mode. The buttons on the back is a stupid gimmick. The concept of, "that's where your fingers are when you hold it is dumb." What do you do when the phone is face up on a counter? You just click the button on the side on a normal phone. On this monstrosity you need to flip it over, turn it on, wait to see if it recognizes the button press and then work on it. The knock on feature just doesn't work accurately enough to be useful so you will probably deactivate it which means you are left with flipping the phone over to turn it on. Lastly, the app that adjusts the screen brightness also is poor at best.
I am so sorry I bought this phone and will never buy another lousy LG product again.
