Remember that curved phone that made quite a noise last year? G Flex from LG, the same big, bold and curvy piece of chunk with capability to bend. Yes, the same handset now has its somewhat sleek and much beautiful looking sibling making people awestruck these days.

The latest from LG is best known as G Flex 2 and comes with improvement in almost every corner and edges it could opt for. Available in dramatic curved design, LG G Flex 2 might look different but its internal overhaul and LG's laggy software choices make the new curvy not much demand-able.

Packed with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Processor, the Flex 2 comes in both 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32GB variants. It can be availed in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red. The unit I had was in Flamenco Red and it costs around Rs. 51899.

Despite running on Android 5 Lollipop version, Flex 2 showed some signs of stutters and lags, though it is capable of running each and every heavy apps and games. Its curve design is sure to impress and the 5.5 inch Curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen offers an impressive resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, making it produce sharp and crisp contents.

The 13MP camera might disappoint, if you are an enthusiastic photographer. Even the front camera failed to impress. Though the battery life is quite good and can last for a day. But when it comes to overall performance, LG G Flex 2 suffers from breakdowns and occasional glitches.

Spending around Rs. 51000 isn't advisable on such handset, though if you are looking for something that looks innovative and elegant at the same time, then I would recommend try your hands on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that can be availed in similar price bracket, may be 2-3 thousands more- but worth your investment.
