I have been using my Sony ericsson phone for past four years, and in those years I hardly faced any problem woth the it. The model was W550i. After using it for four years I still was not willing to give away woth it as I was just in Love with the phone. But then I decided that now was the time for a new phone.

I started searching for the mobile that would meet my requirements and features. As the screen touch phones were in vogue I decided to go for the screen touch featured phone. Many suggested me to go for Nokia or else Samsung which have revolutionized the screen touch handsets with so many ranges to choose from. But I was adamant on going for the LG phone.

After doing a research online, I decided to go for the LG Cookie Plus handset. I was quite happy having bought it. The phone indeed is a fully loaded 3G featured phone with 3mp camera. it has some really interesting built in applications like the Mellow Candles.

But soon I started facing problems in the 2nd week itself. It frequently got hanged, switched off automatically and the battery back up was really poor. After getting it checked at service center I was told the software needs to b upgraded, I wondered how can a newly bought handset needs an upgrade.  But the battery problem persisted. They(Service Center) did not have the new battery to replace. After long time I finally got it replaced and thankfully my Cell is running fine and ok after that.

It is not such a bad buy given its all latest features at such a low price in the screen touch category. But the software needs to be more reliable than it is now if LG wants it's phone to be a hit.

All in all I would give an average rating to the product.
