Value for money. Review on LG 42LB5610 LED

I was looking for a LED tv around 40 inches within 45k.

I did a lot of analysis and study related to television display types, variants of each display type, refresh rate, advantages disadvantages, good bad etc.

I would have gone for sony if budget is not a constraint. LG is a decent and economic brand when compared to samsung.

LG LB5610 got very good user review in multiple shopping websites. Its been 6 months since I bought.

About Tv:

This has 100Hz refresh rate. Display of type Direct LED which is better than Edge LED. Full HD 1080p display

This is not a smart TV. Does not have WiFi or any network connectivity. I dont need smart tv features except screen mirroring option which can be done easily with chromecast or with HDMI port.

Box contains: television, HDMI cable, Remote with batteries, Power cord, TV Stands, manual book

I will simplify the user review with pros and cons according to my expectations

First, lets see the good things about it: Big in size(42'), elegant looking stand, thin bezel Screen and bezel is not glossy, so reflection disturbances are avoided. IPS panel display is solid which is not so fragile like glass and glossy ones. Good amount of volume from speakers(20W). Other tv mostly produce output of 10W. So this wont need a seperate home theatre for watching television channels Easy to install. I did installation on my own User interface is quite good Played almost all standard format of movies from my external 1TB HDD / pen drive Used it as my laptop's external screen through HDMI port which made my TV ultra smart with wireless keyboard and mouse:)

Cons: No free installation provided Remote is not so good looking One more extra HDMI would be good so I dont hav to change port with my DTH, Chromecast and Laptop No wall mounting brackets included Could not play audio of MKV format files

My final verdict: Its value for money. Should go for it.
