Honestly, What is good about Kyunki? The Show has a Huge Family living together and it's sole direction is to bring back the old Indian Values to the new generation! Yeah Whatever! This serial has anything but a strong storyline. I don't Think Ms. Ekta Kapoor herself is aware about the direction she wants to take her show.
Moving on to the Characters - Tulsi gets on my nerves. Before All Tulsi lovers jump on me, I'll say, Im talking about the character not the actual person. I don't even know her! But Tulsi is definately the most annoying. I mean in today's world, who in the hell talks about Ram and Sita? It's like everything she says, She compares it to Ram, Sita and other Gods. I'm not saying I don't believe in God or anything. But, c'mon does any one of us talk about Ram and Sita everytime we make some statement? No!
This show is far from reality. The Joint family is acceptable. But the Ram/Sita talk is taking it too far. Why not use something that's more simple, instead of going on and on about how Tyaag, Balidan and all that. Secondly, The Story's stretched too much. I mean, when they killed Mihir off - They took up 3-4 weeks, after which Tulsi realized He had died. The Serial got way too slow. Even now, When Tulsi realized Mihir had a son with Mandira, EKta potrayed her as the ''Innocent'' one, and Failed to show us Mihir's side of the story. I mean He's after all human, and mistakes do happen, but Tulsi kept blowing him off.
Some of the cast on that serial don't even get about 2 minutes on the show with the exception of Ba, Savita, Gayatri, Gautam and others. So Why bother keeping them on the show? Seriously, Kyunki isn't worth any praises. The only reason I watch it is because of my mother, and sisters, who are glued to the TV from 10 - 11. (Can Ya'll send me money, So I can by me a new Seperate TV? lol! Kidding)
The ''women oriented'' serials just don't cut it anymore. Give us something else, and much more interesting.
