Welcome….Welcome to “T”Ekta planet-the only place for complete (un)entertainment on this earth. Here u will find many serials which (un)revolutionized the tele-industry. If u r wondering why instead of “K”, I wrote the “T” factor, well the “K” factor for EktaJi worked in the serial industry for sumtime. But in the film industry the “K” factor went down like the “Feel Good” factor of BJP, so according to my assumption the next lucky factor would be “T”. U guys also need to suggest some alphabets for the lucky factor. Do give ur suggestion in the comments!!
Ar ar…well as usual be4 I go of topic in my rvu lets come back to the mega-saga-big-family drama-It gives me immense (dis)pleasure to provide to u Kyonki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi aired at 10.30 pm on Star Plus where at this time u have only two alternatives –one if u don’t like the serial switch off the idiot box and other u watch the serial and enjoy it(?????).
The story:R u nuts?? There is no story. The magic mantra is that as soon as one problem is over another problem starts. Take the recent few episodes with the entry of Ansh Gujral we had a new villain entering becoz the famous old villain who, I don’t know, comes back even after 18 years,Mandira went away. Now he is the lost son of the hero and heroine of the serial and so they become good to him. Now Nandini comes in the scene and in order to woo her Ansh shows becoming good and now stays with Virani’s. So from bad he becomes good in their eyes and now after some episodes he will show his true colours and we will have another 50 odd episodes running in for sorting out this problem...Then again some new villain will enter. I wonder whether it would be Mandira back again with a new face once again…lolol.
The Characters:A Memory Test.If u want to check anybody’s memorizing power then dis is the ultimate test. Tell him/her to memorize all the characters of the serial and u’ll come to know how much power there is in the brain. On the other hand it can be also used to improve grasping power. Regularly memorizing the number of characters will increase the memory in the long run…lololol.!! Anyways lets see the characters in the serial..(Here we go..)
Main character: The main character in the serial is…….Shanti Niketan. Virani’s house in which all the characters reside. This is the house where they deal with all problems and overcome them. This is the house which accommodates all of them. So this is the main character of the serial.
Sub Characters:. Innumerable. Its not possible to remember all of them but I’ll still try my best to quote most of them. So here we go….
Ba:The caption of the ship. The oldest member of the Virani family currently seeing the third generation. Waiting for her pad-pad-pota-poti to arrive. At the top of the family tree. She has three sons:
M.Virani: The eldest member of the family after Ba. Comes in for a few episodes doesn’t come for another few. Has two sons and two brothers and a wife.
(Sorry guys cant write the full name. MS spell check is not allowing the full name!!)
Savita Virani: Wife of M Virani. She has a heavy hand on the family. First saas of the family and first bahu of the family too..
Himmat Virani: Bro. of M Virani, younger to M.Virani. His wife was arara I forgot her name but she went away.
JD: The younger of all the three bros of the first generation. Gayatri is his wife. Has a son Hemant and a daughter Sejal. Sejal is the one who never goes to her Sasural. Always stays in her mayka. How realistic!!!
Mihir Virani: The hero of the story(if any). Has four sons and a daughter. But two of his sons get lost in the beginning and one son is not his son but it is sali's son i.e. Harsh about which he comes to know after 18 years but finally that problem gets solved too as Harsh lives with the Virani's only. Daughter Shoba is married to Vishal who is the son of the old nemesis of Virani Parivar “Payal” who has become a sati savitri currently but as soon as we would have a shortage of Villains she would again show her true colours..(there I go thinking again).
Tulsi Virani: Needs no introduction. The ideal bahu of the serial. She has now become a saas. She is the problem solver of the Virani Family. She brings out glycerine tears which would fill an river. In my opinion to save water, when she is about to cry the water should be collected and should be emptied in the overhead water tank of Shanti Niketan. So no problem of water for the Virani’s ever. She is the wife of Mihir Virani and has four sons—Gautam, Karan, Harsh, Ansh and a daughter Shobha.
Gautam: The angry young man of the serial and is the only character which I can bear if I happen to watch this serial anytime. Has had 2 wives be4 and currently living happily with his third wife Damini.
Karan:The son of Mandira and Mihir which is now accepted by the family. Is currently in the serial from quite sumtime now. Love angle of Karan is Nandini who also happens to be the love of Ansh. So now we already have a new part on the serial in which the race for winning Nandini has begun between Karan and Ansh.
Ansh:A new combination of hero and villain in one. Hero for the family and villain in himself. Looks weird in the beard and the long hair with a short choti on. Is after Nandini and becoz of her he has come into the family to stay with them.
Hemant: Cousin of Mihir. Has two sons Tarun and Saahil. Saahil is not currently in. Saahil has a wife named Ganga. The director might have forgotten him. But don’t worry as soon as he remembers him he will be back from a business trip.
Pooja:Hemant’s wife in for sum episodes out for a few.
Nandini: New entry. Niece of Pooja. Lives in Shanti-Niketan. Loves Karan but is not able to confess. Now Tulsi will tell Nandini to marry Ansh.... dekh lena….
Baki characters ke naam mein Bhool gaya. So my memory is 10% weak…lololol….
Conclusion: With the flash-forward in almost every serial with the “K” factor, we too have it in here. The serial was initially realistic enough when it was first aired for a few episodes. But now it has become highly unrealistic and is just a means of wasting half an hour. They will still not stop the serial becoz they now need to complete what they have started so the serial will run for 2-3 years again!!!
So bear it as u have beared my rvu…
