“Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” is to-date one of the most watched and liked T.V. serials on the Indian television. A complete family drama, “KSBKBT” is based on the typical Indian background with the usual tug of war between the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law.
The work of all the artists in the serial has been totally outstanding, but the work of the lead character, Amar Uphadyay, that is, Mihir, in the serial has been really mind-blowing, and this role has really taken his career on a high and his popularity has been raised to such an extent that instead of knowing him as Amar, the entire India knows him as Mihir.
But there has been a problem with all these family dramas and that is over stretching and “KSBKBT” is no exception. And sadly this over stretching has ruined a many like “Chandrakanta”, “Swabhimaan” etc, etc and if this phenomenon is not stopped than a name will soon be added to such list.
