Haan ! Ho Gaya..... Popat !. Review on Kyun! Ho Gaya Na

It was another hyped up movie due to off-screen chemistry between Ash and Vivek. But unfortunately, their on screen chemical reaction fails to impress viewers. Vivek must have won Ash off-screen, but I still believe on-screen Salman-Ash rocks!! When I could get the tickets of Kyun?ho gaya na from window only on a weekend, I realized that beta Haan?. Ho Gaya Popat.

STORY

Err-june is a happy go lucky types creature. Just opposite is Diya, who believes in Pyar-Ishq aur Mohabbat. Movie starts of with Mr. Err-june advertising for CASTROL in the razzmatazz of F-1 race.

While returning back to home, his luggage gets stolen at railway station. As a result, Err-june takes a new get up of pantry boy and starts doing ?..cold drinks?.cold drinks & Vakaw ..comes next ad of COCA-COLA. Err-june meets Diya in the train and impress her with his romantic talk.

Diya?s Dad and Err-june?s Dad are best friends. Diya is preparing for her exams and lands up at Err-june?s house for her studies. Err-june and Om-puri shares good chemistry and never miss a chance to pull each other?s leg. Diya is all head over heels for Err-june but ?Pyaar aur Haar err-june ki dictionary mein nahin hai?.He just takes her as a friend and often teases her with his pranks.

Finally?Diya gives up and goes to her Uncle (The Big B). Big B runs an Orphanage and love all those kids as his own. He also acts as a kid and plays with all of them. Err-june also lands up at Uncle?s place to perform his next advertisement of CHEETOS.

There comes special entry of Ee-shaan?.Diya starts loving Ee-shaan?Their marriage gets fixed?Then Err-june realizes err err , even he loves Diya. He should have said it earlier , err err. End is quite predictable and it is quite common in bollywood. Ee-shaan was just trying to ?jalao-fy? Err-june, so that he realize his love for Diya. And they happily live ever after.

PERFORMANCE

Vivek Oberai :His character was taken as it is from King Khan?s flick DDLJ. Probably that?s why, he was trying to ape SRK all the time. It was a futile effort, Vivek Oberai is a talented guy and he should have been himself.

Ash :Ash is no more a newcomer in bollywood. She should now accept much more challenging and mature roles. Her role was no different from any other flicks of her. She definitely looked gorgeous in the movie , which she is anyways. Performance-wise it was another run-of-the-mill.

Big B :His post interval entry brings up spice in the otherwise dull movie. For a superstar like him, it wasn?t difficult at all to make some moments interesting with his dialogue delivery and facial expressions. But, movie had already disappointed viewers so much that nothing much could be done. At least, he keeps the audience awake.

On Puri and Rati Agnihotri did justice to the roles given to them. Rati Agnihotri was looking young and gorgeous. Suniel Shetty has an average performance.

MUSIC

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy fails to impress audience with their music. After DIL CHAHTA HAI, one has high expectations from them. Pyaar mein sau mushkilein hainis the only hummable song. Other songs are all unheard of , one doesn?t see them in promos also!

POST-MORTEM

One thing I have realized that I?ll never gonna watch a Boney Kapoor production again. Last one I watched was RUN, which I have cursed enough in my review on it.

There was nothing which could save this movie. Only source of revenue could be the series of advertisement which Err-june has done. Viewers have seen umpteenth number of movies like this. Most of the plot was taken from DIL TO PAGAL HAI. I really can?t understand what Director must have thought while making such a movie. In the first half, movie attempts to be romantic and targeted towards young audience. Latter half is full of PJs , which only kids can appreciate. End is so much predictable that it fails to generate emotions amongst viewers. Shahrukh Khan has gathered enough sympathy of viewers in such kind of movies and it all looks like a repetition.

Vivek Oberai should be very careful while choosing movies, because 2-3 flops like this can make him another Hritik Roshan.
