Shankar Ehsaan Loy have a wonderful talent in composing..

After giving Sensible music in Armaan,Kuch na Kaho,DCH,mission kashmir and Kal ho na ho they are back again with a wonderful album..

Kyu? Ho gaya na! Produced by bonney kapoor(shakti the failure,Run) directed by debutant Samir Karnik and featuring Vivek oberoi with aishwaria rai for the first time!!!!

The first track is Pyar main sau Uljane hai sung by Shankar, Vijay Prakash, Mahalaxmi, Sneha Pant ...i really dunno wat kind of genre this is...may be a english folk or western classical or 60's hindi song, songs played in Broadway type?? whatever it may be it is instantly likeable.

Kudos to SEL this is indeed a different composition by them....Shankar has sung beautifully the song starts of with nice melody then progresses very fast. The lyrics by javed akthar are just about ok(these type of lyrics are usual in Hindi films...for e.g. pyar zindagi from Pukar...also produced by bonney!!) Vijay, Mahalaxmi.

Sneha give good support...The songs reminds me of ARR?s sapnay songs?.

Then comes a foot tapping number No No kyu ho gaya na!! Sung by Shankar, Kunal Ganjawala, Dominique Cerejo, Chetna Shashital,Loy Mendonca..The beats are surely inspired...

This track reminds me of rahman of 10 yrs before when he composed Thiruda Thiruda(Chor Chor)..This song is fast, has good beats and also has Hindi rap!!!(But not a fan of English lyrics in a Hindi album)

Those who prefer melody wont like this track, this song is aimed at Yuva log! Sure HIT.

Then comes my favorite track Aao Na by sadhna sargam(i feel she has the best voice in hindi industry and highly underrated) and again my favorite Udit Narayanan....

Its a fantastic melody, infact this song made be to download the whole album (well I don?t buy CD's unless composed by rahman!!! anyway MD?s don?t get any royalty so why to waste money????)

Aao Na is beautifully tuned and very well rendered by the singers....the lyrics are of top class!!

The song has a very good classical start rendered by shankar and sadhna?Sure Hit?The song is also beautifully picturised..

The next track which is quite interesting is Main hoon by Sunidi chauhan and shaan...

Watch out for the Lyrics they are awesome...this song is fast and is rocking!!!!

Shaan and sunidi are good, nice composition by SEL (but again reminds me of a Tamil song) and if well promoted can become a popular one.

The weak link in this album is Baat samja karo, a situational song involving amitab bachpan(i hope he retires soon, baap bete ka torture saha nahin jata)

Usually sudesh bhonsale sings for amitab but SEL has roped in Chetan Shashital.

its a typical boring bollywoodish song also sung by javed and shankar..Its better to skip this track...

The last track is dheere dheere again sung by shankar...its a slow and gentle song,with soulful music and nice https://lyrics...At the middle of the song shaker sings Aao na tune it is brilliant?

This track though wont be a hit is real treat for us?

VERDICT: The music sales of Kyu?Ho gaya na is not encouraging...infact it will fail like armaan,kuch na kaho(since people in india like songs from murder,mujshe shaadi karoge)

Though the music MAY fail I still recommand this album since it is classy, different and a honest attempt by SEL (it wont win any awards though)
