They say the music industry is going through one of its most dull phases. they say the music has lost its touch and melody what it used to have in the 90's. well here is one hell of an album which reemphasizes the fact that the melody in hindi film industry is yet to fade away. thanx to the team of the salman starrar musical hit ''b>tere naam'' who come up yet another time with some soulful tracks.

b> kyunki .. is the name of the album which promises a lot starring salman, kareena, reema sen in the coming diwali and eid. directed by priyadarshan and the music composed by the in-form himesh reshammiya( aasiq banaya aapne fame), b> kyunki is expected to have a gr8 music all together. somehow they are successful in living up to the expectations.

five songs mainly appear in the album ( the tittle track has 4 versions) and there is a remixed version of one song.

the first to go is the title track b> kyunki..itna pyar tumko which somehow brings back the memory of b> tere naam. no wonder this track is going to be a certain hit in near future.the musical arrangements are of the first rate.the use of mouthorgan is sure to take you in early days in the nadeem-shravan era when these sort of music used to take place. It has 4 versions and three of them are sung by the evergreen pair of udit narayan and alka yagnik. another is sung by the newcomer radha and all the versions are worth listening. the singers have rendered their level best, specially udit narayan, who appears to b in top form yet again with his crisp vocals. alka yagnik is great as well in other versions. the 3rd version where radha gets a chance behind the mike sounds like alka in some places..the picturization is good and one version is also used as a background score. a gr8 track.

Then comes b> dil keh raha hain sung by kunal ganjawala which appears to be a peppy number and some soulful and groovy vocal from kunal takes it to another level.heavy in beats, the track boasts of useful lyrics and salman is sure to show some attitude in front of the camera for the song. Musical arrangements are good by himesh.there is a remixed version of this one which is not too different from the original one.

b>dil ke badle sanam is the next love song which appears to be an emotional one when it starts without vocals. But as soon as it gets upbeat and udit and alka behind the mike it turns out to be a feel good romantic track. A routine track. Lyrics are regular.it is the singers who gives it a touch of the experience and soulful singing which makes it worth listening. This song is picturized partially in train and in some beautiful places in Switzerland.

b> jhatka mare…goli mare tera dupatta is the next song by udit narayan. Kailash kher and chorus. This is a trademark dupatta song by himesh which somehow brings back memories of r.d.burman compositions for amitabh bachchan in some of his movies. No matter how similar they are this is a song where salman will do some crazy stuff and a lot of matkas will be there as suggested by the https://lyrics. The song is picturized in the mental hospital and after masses start watching the video on air they are gonna love it.the song starts with alaap by kailash kher and after that udit narayan takes the charge. Some credits need to be given to him as he still sounds so young and energetic despite being in his late 40's and the feel he provided is awesome. A total masala track.

The last track is b> aa jeele ek pal mein sau janam is sure to be one of the most melodious tracks of the year.though the music is a bit similar to rajesh roshan’s and uttam singh’s music in kaho na pyar hain and dil to pagal hain but it boasts of such high melody and a universal feel to it that those issues can be ignored. an extremely well arranged track by himesh and even better rendition by udit narayan and alka yagnik. Both the singers are at their ease. Udit narayan reemphasizes the fact that his best days are yet to come and why he is the best when echoing a man’s heart. he recreates the magic of dil to pagal hain in this song. Alka provides him with equal support and sounds like a 20 year old girl. this track needs to be picturized well and should be highly promoted on air.

So, one gets the feeling that there could have been 2 more songs in the album. But it is good to have 3 or four quality songs rather than having too many pieces of crap. The title track, dil keh raha hain and aa jeele ek pal mein have all what is takes to be a chartbuster. So what is needed now is to promote them well.himesh reshammiya has come with gr8 music yet another time with kyunki after his all India musical hit aashiq banaya aapne. The top leads in singing ( udit and alka) reassures that are the best in this era for romantic duets.

overall, a gr8 album and a must buy for the music lovers who support good quality music.
