!~*Saab Log Suno Dr.Screwala Ka Logic*~!. Review on Kya Kool Hai Hum

Hey Ms friends! I’m back with another review on a film that I just saw…hmm…half an hour ago! But I guess you people must have already saw it like months ago naa. You lucky people. Lehkin kya kare hum…hum to kool hi kool hai in saab filmo ke liye! :P Yeah you got me right…Kya Kool Hai Hum.

Kya Kool Hai Hum is a hilarious story about two kool best friends Rahul and Karan. Both guys are interested in things of a sort which contain their age personality. Such as having a girlfriend, going out with them and er…better leave that part unsaid! They want to be popular to show others how kool they are, unfortunately they are just a bunch of losers and show offs. Rahul on one hand wants to become a fashion designer, but Karan on the other hand just wants to sit in a huge bungalow with a rich girl who has both the beauty, body and money! The two of them are searching for that right girl so that they all can go out have some fun and just enjoy themselves for the rest of their lives. Little do they know only that fun and enjoyment they both are searching will only end them up into a tide up situation which will be very hard to untangle! While the whole city is in shock about the news of a girl being raped and then killed by someone. That killer is who the police department is searching. While special criminologist Dr.Screwala is asked to help the police in searching for that serial killer. While Rahul then finds out from a pundit that if he will find a girl with A Spot On Her Heart, his destiny will surely change. So now whenever he meets a girl, he tries to find that spot on her heart. Though for poor Rahul, while finding that girl would have been the worst thing for him when he is then being targeted by the police. When Urmila Martodkar ( let me rephrase Mar-tod-kar :S). The plan of course is very simple on how to get the serial killer red handed, which Dr.Screwala surely has in plan! Urmila then turns into a beautiful girl ( with bad language still!) and then gets Rahuls attention instantly. On the other hand for Karan, his life is going horribly, it’s going so horribly that he also doesn’t know what the heck is happening to him! He tries flirting with his boss’s ex-girlfriend, Kiran, and Kiran ends up being Karan’s girlfriend. Little does Karan know that Kiran is not a girl but is something else really, yeah you know what! Kiran’s parents don’t allow her to meet her (his) one and only love. So then Kiran’s parents call over her sister Rehka who is a psychologist, to explain to her that she (he) should stop loving Karan. When Rehka finally finds out that Karan was that same guy in college who asked her to be his time pass and who she hated so much after that! Then Rehka’s only solution is to get Karan back to liking girls and get back to normal from being gay. Karan, is also being fooled that Kiran is not a girl but a guy. Now will Karan and Rahul come to the part where their wishes are fulfilled? Is Rahul innocent or guilty? Will Karan ever marry the gir..oops guy of his dreams without even knowing who that someone is??!? Who is the serial killer behind all this?? ( you want me to tell you..jokin!:P)

Characters

Tusshar Kapoor - Rahul

He’s back in another film after such a long time and did really well no doubt. He seems to handle his funny dialogues well and he can carry on well in these sort of roles which suite him and his personality. I’d say he’s very. Very good at comedy and has gone to his best! I very intimidating personality role.

Ritesh Deshmukh - Karan

Is back after a hilarious performance in Masti! This time he proves that he is really good at comedy and his role also suited him very well and he co-operated well with the rest of the cast giving us all a lot of laughs! He’s really talented and as long as he stays in roles that suite him very well and he knows what he’s doing, he’s on the right track of Bollywood. Natural, fun and kool performance by him!

Isha Koppikar - Urmila Martodkar

I laughed at her performance in a way of admiring her exellence in the role she was given! She did well in this film and I loved her way of speaking..it really suited her role and I just don’t know how she got into the state of being like that but it was truly a brilliant and hilarious performance by her! She also proves this time as well that she knows really well how to act and I know very well she will come up in roles like these.

Neha Dupia - Rehka

Hmm..well it was a natural performance by her but her acting didn’t really impress me that much. It seemed too obvious. Though her scenes with Ritesh are really good. They both have a very good chemisty between each other.

Anupam Kher - Dr.Screwala

Gosh..just by hearing his name made me ROFL so much! It was a sort of different performance from him. He came in with a very kool hair style this time. His dialogues are very hilarious and his clueless acting just rocks. (I wonder if her 3 balls ka theory is real?? :P :P)

Razzaq Khan was funny and gives you some good old laughs. <b.Sushmita Mukherjee and Rajpal Yadav made me laugh like anything! Shoma Anand was also very hilarious at times and did some really good acting. Bobby Darling is his no wait I think her….WHATEVER!!

Music

Chala Chala a song picturised on the three hilarious couples! All the girls are trying to seduce the men towards them while they just keep refusing! It’s really hilarious. Especially with Anupam Kher and Shoma Anand.

Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan

Chaska A song picturised on Tusshar and Isha Koppikar, it looked really hot and the dance really gave the music something extra! Nice music as well.

Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan & Kunal Ganjawala

Dil Mera By The Rishi Rich Project A really kool song that fitted in the movie really well. Not really an exciting song though but the dance to it was really good!

My Thoughts On The Film

It’s a good film overall and you will get a lot of laughs from all the hilarious misunderstandings in it going on. But it does not succeed to be what you call ”A Masterpiece” and not even an unforgettable comedy film. It is a good time pass if you have nothing to do (which is what I go through). Though it is a worth watch. Acting by all will just make you laugh, laugh and laugh!!!
