Kutumbh in new avtaar!. Review on Kutumbh

Well Ekta Kapoor surely seems to be ruling the roost at present coz with almost twenty five of her serials being aired on TV and all popular and hit,what else can one ask for?With all the Bollywood films floping left,right and centre the only thing which is left for the people to watch is television and must say there are lots of good programnes going on air.The one such serial is kutumbh,which is an Ekta kapoor serial and was going on from a long time but now she has gone a step further and changed the whole look of the show and presenting it in a more modern setup,the look of the actors has also been changed.I haven't seen the earlier version of the serial so I really can't comment on it but the new version is really something interesting.

The story basically revolves around PRATHAM(Hiten tejwani)who is the cool dude of his college with all girls crazy over him,but he just beleives in flirting and having a nice time.He doesn't beleive in love or God.He is rich and a spoilt brat and very poor in studies.Then there is his best freind Gauri(Gauri pradhan)who isn't very rich,studies in the same college and also takes tution where Pratham comes.Gauri is a simple but very self-respecting girl,she is not liked in the college much coz of her appearance.She wears spectcles and salwar-kameez.which keeps Pratham away from her,though he likes her,he isn't able to admit it coz his friends make fun of him if he is seen with Gauri.But slowly Pratham is being attracted to Gauri and she also has started falling in love with him.But whether Pratham admits this in front of his friends is to be seen.I like the serial coz its very young and fresh,much better then those saas bahu dramas......and the love story between the two lead pairs is great to watch.

The casting is perfect.Hiten in his new look looks real cute and acts well too.He is really talented.Gauri also with her new look,short hair and spectecles look kinda cute.They share great on-screen chemistry.They both look superb together.The rest of the cast I am not too bothered about.The casting song is really nice and both Hiten and Gauri look awesome.The direction of the serial is good,no stupidities as such.

So on the whole the new KUTUMBH is good and it has already impressed me..........so I hope it continues to be good.It comes on Sony-9:30,every MON-THUR.Watch it.You won't be dissapointed.It is infinitly better than all the trash that comes on Tv,esp Kahi na kahi koi hai.
