So, all of you have watched the movie and seen the extravaganza? I submit my views to you.
On the Movie:
) The words from the theatres are out that the film is a damp squib. The only saving grace is the screen presence of Rajnikanth.
) Pasupathi's role was dumbed down. He was made to idolize Rajnikanth. I couldn't find his originality, like in Veyyil.
) Nayantara shares more screen space than Meena.
) Vadivelu's comedies were not up to his usual standard.
) The music was a big let down. Sort of explains why the Tea stalls and Mobile phones don't ring "Kuselan"
On P.Vasu
P.Vasu tried to make a low-budget family movie with Pasupathy. But how could he make money? So he put Rajini in, put Nayantara and Vadivelu in, made a lot of marketing hype(20 avatars, banners in USA), increased the guest appearance from 18 to 60 minutes, and sold it to the distributors for a good profit. If the movie goes bad, the theatre owners get their money back from the distributors. So nobody loses, except the distributors. I'm sorry for them.
*On Rajni
*He asked sorry to the Karnataka film club to screen this movie. I would have been happy if he had asked sorry for some high budget movie like Robo or Sivaji. But why does he have to stoop low for this underscale movie? Its piteous and selfish.
*Summary
*Rajni's Power and Adorance is not to be misused, that too by people like P.Vasu.
Looking forward to 100 avatars in Robo(I mean, 100 costumes of course).
