This review is for Science master degree courses. For Arts degree , please confirm from students of current batch not from professors.
I was a M.Sc(Electronics) ( 2009-2011 )Student of Kurukshetra univeristy. This university is performing well in some departments like Geology and Geophysics and MCA. Rest of departments have horrible results. In M.Sc Physics hardly 20-30 student passed out of nearly 400 students. In my class only 2 have passed out of 40 seats. Our department has no placement at all. Most of students are not able to complete their degree in 2 years. They got trapped in Re-appears and for everybody's notification, you can give exams of even semester in even semester and vice verse and it means that if you have a re-appear left than you will have to wait a year for that.
In our department, there is a paper, EL-102, which is not a tough paper but it is the only paper that most of candidates are not able to pass. Some professor's ERA.
One can check our department results or other M.Sc dept . like Mathematics and Physics's results using RTI and one can get the answer .
This university is NAAC's A graded but belive me this has only infrastructure and Wi-fi.
The main thing, for which students come here is not here which is a better career.
Most of students will find out that, they have lost their precious time here in these departments.
Instead of wasting your precious time and money , Better to look for some other performing courses or do prepare for some GOVT. job like SSC & UPSC.
Note: Hardly a student got above 70% who has cleared their degree.
It means that even if one has cleared degree, most of companies will not shortlist him/her.
If you are not able to complete your degree in two years, what answer you will give to companies, what did you do in these two years? You got failure, than why do we hire you?
So it will cost only 100 rs. for RTI and do check their results before joining their courses and don't forget to ask from current batch students about dept. placements and course.
You will get the idea, whether to join a particular course or not.
Because students are the greatest reviewer.
