So simple for pruducers to get inspired by few hit films, then make a khidchi of the story, hire stars who are in the lime light, do excellent marketing, release the film with the predictable positive reviews. Karan Johar has broken the shackles from making romantic films and have made a film on the backdrop of terrorism. So what? Does it make the film worth a watch? But, yes on Monday the makers can declare the film a hit for sure due to excellent business at BO during the first week end.
If you have seen Fanna & New York then you know what Kurbaan is going to offer you. A mixture of both with Kareena's bare back. And it was marketed too. Wasn't Karan sure about the success of the film?
To me it was a waste of time and money, as the scenes were predictable at times and that gave a feeling of restlessness. I should have waited for the DVD.Only good things are the performances of the star cast & the photography. I do not recommend this film AVOID IT.
