Whenever you think of Jackie chan movies you think of great action, Jackie chan moving around the buildings and scenery like a King fu expert, comedy fights with heart stopping stunts.Well that is exactly what I was expecting when I decided to see this movie.
But obviously it wasn't something I was expecting. Can't believe it the same guy who directed such amazing movies with Jackie chan before. It felt like a more clitche Bollywood Movie. Nonsense and illogical. I mean making song like goosebumps singing about a Chinese guy and the Indian actresses dancing like queens, jackie chan wearing traditional clothes, fire breathers, jugglers etc etc full on stereotyping.
But I went to watch it in my own risk even though I knew that this was not gonna be great but for the sake of Jackie Chan I thought it will be worth something. But we even have to admit that Jackie is old now. He can't do much of those death defying stunts that made him so popular. His old age reflects in the movie and he is not the same he was 20-30 years ago. Age took a toll on him.He was even old when he did the Myth and it was not great either.
Talking about other actors all heavy stunts were done by other male characters. The highlight of the show Jackie chan was not much of involved. Actresses like Disha Patani seemed more excited like a 8 year old girl who was just glad he was working with such a huge star.
The story sounds appealing where two archelogists go to find the treasure of a lost kingdom. INDIANa Jones style. The movie wasn't as great as Jackie chan's hits of the past like The God's armour if you know about that movie. There was no excitement and twists like that in this movie. Whole movie just went, me waiting for something to happen and it was an utter disappointment. Bollywood virus somehow touched this movie and ruined it. Not worth it.
