1) If u gotta chose between houseboat & this property, I would say this property as its like a big houseboat among backwaters
2) It s not very expensive & a perfect bliss for honeymooners owing to its beautiful location among greenery nd water
3) Rooms r spacious & clean, Hard Bed.Coffee maker & other little stuff in the room
4) You can bring your own booze nd do it inside the hotel.They don’t stop u from that
5) Mostly firangs(foreigners)stay there & theres a party type feel all night.
6) Food is good for both veggies nd nonveggies and its cheap too.Dal costing 100 bucks, traditional kerala meal fr 250Rs.
7) Big Lounge outside, perfect for the kids
8) Staff is absolutely cordial.I saw them once feeding someone elses baby with milk?.now that’s truly unique.
Minus
1) Not a big showy, pompous hotel
2) Mosquitoes sometimes, but they give u the coil
3) Tours booked frm hotel & taxi is very expensive.Always prebook ur itinerary
4) Availability is a major problem during season

Tips
1) Local Kerala tour operators are not liked by people at this hotel as they often give false promises & charge hefty to end customers for these hotels.Most don’t include the hidden charges as well.So AVOID them at any cost.Companies like Thomas Cook r way too expensive
2) Its advisable to book thru this hotels channel partner. Antilog Vacations is the official channel partner.They give u the standard rates & a full tour package, if u need tht.
3) If u delay the bookings you r most likely missing the bus, as this hotel is almost full in all seasons.
4) Never directly book from the Hotel, Its expensive as u get the published tariff
5) Don’t try a swim in backwaters as there r lots of meanders & curves & it will be tough.
I am just back frm Honeymoon folks, a 7 day kerala tour.It has been a satisfying experience
