I've been to Kuching twice and it was alright. As you know Malaysian bathrooms are not clean, Kuching has one of the most cleanest bathrooms throughout Malaysia.
The airport has many great stores and things related to Malaysia. My sister loves fabric purses and the many of those too. One thing that wasn't so good was the immigration. Here's how it went: First of all it was 2 minutes left to boarding. Second, the lady checked my passport.
Then, she went back to her office to get someone else which no one else came. Fourth, she checked my boarding pass and asked how many days I was staying in my destination( which was Singapore) eventually I caught my flight. Haven't been on a taxi. Accessibility is really easy. I know the taxis are great
