Well love cant be arranged and nor can a film without a good script!...I was actually not too disappointed because in the first place I did not go with too many expectations and secondly it was a far better flick than horrific attempts like the previous Aishwaria starrers DIL KA RISHTA and DHAI AKSHAR PREM KE.....i heard a few people died of diabetis after watching the Saccharine sweet DAPK...Well if u still want to watch it then the olny 3 reasons I can think of are Aishwaria, Aishwaria and Aishwaria...!

THE PLOT...

Raj(Abhishekh) is an NRI who comes down to India in search of Eligable brides. Namrata(Aishwaria) helps him in the process but he falls for her. She reciprocates his feelings, but after a bit of hesitation because she is aldready married with a 7 year old kid! Her husband had eloped previously when she was pregnant and thus has a haunted past. Eventually when she agrees the expected happens her husband returns.....what happens then? NOTHING MUCH....

THE DIRECTION and TECHNICALITIES...

The directior has not done a bad job....infact his flair for comedy shows because some of the scenes are actually pretty hillerious. Though there is a lot of melodrama and unnecessary songs the film is pretty entertaining in the first half but becomes increadibly intolerable in the second half. The story is pathetic and very predictable. The cinematography is superb and the songs are shot very well.

The script which is the main componant of any film itself is half baked and thus the film fails to impress in the least bit. The dialogues , costumes and sets are all decent but the songs unnsecessarily hamper the pace film and are not placed rightly.

THE PERFORMANCES...

AISHWARIA RAI: She looks stunning as usual and gives a decent performance.

ABHISHEKH BACHCHAN: He looks pathetic and his performance was ok though he cant dance and looks awkward throughout.

The kid was ok but I cant remember his name.

Watch it on a CD or give it a miss!

CHEERS!
