Hollywood mein Kuch to Hai. Review on Kucch To Hai

There's something about Hollywood. That is the message this movie seems to deliver. How else do you explain such a varied lot of movies of movies being integrated into a single bollywood movie with little variations?

What made the producers go for two directors is beyond standard intelligence since a single director could have made as worse a movie. There are serious challenges to sanity at places for instance when you see Esha Deol standign in the middle of nowhere waiting for a Bus to go to London(And she is supposed to be in Shimla!!!!)Or for instance when one of the jokers is seen running for his life on a snow covered bridge and the next sec you see he is tumbling down a slope!!!!. Of course the audience are not supposed to question these and the myriads of other mistakes.

Anu Malik sure has lost his touch. Its been ages since we heard good music when the credits had Anu Malik among them. The music of Kucch To hai doesnt even qualfiy as passing except for one or two tracks.

The Cast have put up a powerhouse performance in making the movie a damp squib. Tushar of course doesnt dissappoint - he still can't act. He continues with where he left from in Jeena sirf merre liye. He makes you wonder when will theguy realize he cannot act and stop punishing the adience for no fault of theirs. Jeetendra and Moonmoon sen don't add sheen but rather make the scenes that they appear in too boring. A dumb Rishi Kapoor acts dumber and makes you look dumb looking at him. The pack of jokers that follow the lead cast with their inane jokes make life difficult for the audience. The only saving grace in the cast is Esha Deol, who not only sizzles but also acts well. The newcomer natasha is so so.

The plot(by now famous) of course doesnt matter. The story has been porly handled and the background music makes you want to scream(pun intended).

The verdict : dont watch this movie.
