I'm not a fan of Bollywood, worse, I cant speak or even understand Hindi, but Krrish made so much noise in Chennai, by releasing at 4 theatres (apart from the Tamil version through out Tamilnadu). The first for an Hindi film here to do so.

First, the plot. Nothing new in the script. Same old dad in distress and hero chases the villain subject. The performance "two star" goes to Nasrudeen Shah and Hrithik, in that order. Others, including dadima Rekha, none worth mentioning. Sound "is equal to" more noise. Cinematography, may be the film would've looked nice without unwanted "effects" shots. I mean if there is a conversation during the night, there is no need to add stars & moon in CG, because our CG guys count "seconds" not creative professionalism.

One positive thing about not understanding the language is we can concentrate on Visuals more. And as a VFX professional the following are my views on the "1000 effects (CG) shots".

Almost all CG shots has "white outline" around the subjects. It means the Key was not done neatly in our parlance. Roto was equally bad. The rock climbing episode was badly done. The advantage of Singapore location is to use Chinese stunt professionals, which Rakesh used neatly. Chinese stunts means "wire-effects" and Hrithik has done lot of home work in (wire-rigging) centre-of -gravity balance. Hritik chasing the chopper scenes are ok, but it is not that great as claimed by Craig Mumma, Krrish's VFX supervisor. "Full-Body scanned 3D Hritik" has been used in those shots, according to him, but not a single shot gives credit to that. I dont think this film shots will feature in any CG technician's (involved in the film) "show-reel", including, Craig's.
