Here comes the much awaited Indian Superhero and its pretty apparrent by the movie that the Roshan family is not just interested in joining the race and making movies. Take my word as you yourself will realise after watching the movie that they havn't been waiting these years after Koi Mil Gaya only for Krissh. Krissh is only a part of the bigger picture.
This movie is all about the making of a superhero, a desi one. And desi I call not for us Indians, but also for the rest of the world that thinks that Indianization is the in thing. And so Krissh with its International standard SFX and a different kindda superhero outlook is all set to appeal the international audience. What adds value to this fact is the use of kung-fu kindda action sequences.
The beginning of Krishna's superhumanly acts (that of saving Pri Chops from falling down the tree) invariably brings into mind the memories of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. This is not to take away the credit from the crew that has done an appreciable job, and specially touching those areas that the bollywood was shying away from. The reasons being finance, fear of public acceptance, unwanted comparison with various counterparts across the globe, the indian way of treading only the tried & tested path (i.e singing and dancing around the tree, and more recently the soft porn flicks), etcetera etcetera.
The overall movie is gripping, and that too for the whole family, with good comic timing without going out & out with insane comic dialogues.
This is my first review guys so please pour in your suggestions and criticisms so that I may include you in my thank you list when I receive my 1st big award before an international audience.
And lets hope the ROSHANS come up with an even better sequel thab this one, and glorify Indian flag.
