Crash. Review on Krrish

Some thoughtts:

1. I assume that Koi Mil Gaya happened in 2003-04. So this Krrish shud be happening in 2025. This was not shown properly at all.

   
   




2. Father Hrithik (Rohit) stays in Singapore for 2 years. Preityconceives and delivers a baby (Krrish) at the end of 2nd year. It hasalien powers. Why Krrish looks like Rohit :).

   
   




3. Naseeruddin Shah - Why was he here? It is the second blot in hiscareer (The first one was Asambhav). If it is for money then I thinkevery Indian will contribute 1 Rupee each and make sure that such afine actor does not act in this kind of movie.

   
   




4. Now I understood why RGV is a good director and his movies are called experiments. If you have movies like this then why not.

   
   




5. If Charles Babbage sees this movie he will commit suicide. He wouldnever have thought that his idea will be made cheap and look so stupid.We are talking about Computer. To see what are all the things acomputer can do read ahead. I started thinking that Computer is thesecond superhero of the movie.

   
   

You should have guessed during the promo itself that Krrish hassuperpowers. How he uses his superpowers for killing the villains isthe story. As with all superheroes of hollywood he remains anonymous.

Spoilers ahead:

Priyanka comes to Krrish's village. Krrish has not seen a beautifulwomen there. So he falls in love with her. Priyanka mistakes him forBhoot and what follows is an attempted comedy. Most of the jokes arechildish. She dances with Krrish for some songs and goes back toSingapore after dancing (How can whole Hindi movie be taken in India?).

Priyanka calls Krrish to Singapore for filming his superpower. Shetells that she loves Krrish and he believes her. He goes to Singaporeonly after promising to Rekha that he will not reveal his superpowers.He also comes to know that his father Rohit died in Singapore.

Naseeruddin Shah who owns an IT company calls Rohit because he is agenius. The project - hold you breath - is predicting the future (Iwant to know how Rakesh Roshan got this weird idea. Probably fromMinority Report). He combines Astronomy, Astrology etc., to predictthat. If you think that he is building an algorithm you are horriblywrong. He builds computer that too in 2 years single-handedly (He is agenuis - buddy).

Rohit wants to see the kid Preity Zinta delivered (she conceived itwhen Rohit was in Singapore :). The director did not tell if Rohitvisited India in the meantime :) ). There is a security check in thesystem. It scans the retina of his eye and scans his heartbeat (thecomputer is an ecg machine now. you should not ask how you can uselight to scan the heartbeat). He keeps his palm on the input glass pad(I donno the name of that futuristic input taker). A current or lightor lightning (i donno what the hell it is) passes from the input pad tothe monitor. He sees the future now. The computer now becomes a TV cumdvd player and it plays what will happen after 15 min. He sees his kid,Preity & Rekha (How on earth can you see all these things. Doesthis mean that he can see a woman taking bath?). A phone call comesfrom Rohit. Rohit tells Rekha that he is having a problem. Rohitfastforwards and sees Naseer holding a gun on his forehead. Naseer isthe villain and he wants to kill Rohit. Reason - he wants to use thatfor evil purpose and he does not want anybody else to use it.

Rohit then destroys the "computer". Naseer comes and points the gun inhis forehead. He tells that he will rebuild the computer again. SharatSaxena - Naseer's employee - asks him not to kill Rohit. The reason isthat one needs Rohit's eye and live heart for security check. Oh Godwhy do you require his eyes and hearbeat for the computer to be builtby Naseer? (At this point it struck that I am watching a Bollywoodmovie and should not expect much logic. But this defies everything.Very stupid). So they decide to preserve Rohit. Krrish comes to know ofthis and wants to rescue his father.

Naseer builds the computer in 20 years. The "computer" which took 2years to be built takes 20 years for a group of scientists. Now Rohitis brought before the computer. The same stupid things happen. Retinascan & heartbeat scan happens for Rohit. His palm is kept on theinput taker. Current passes and Naseer sees his future. He findshimself killed by Krrish - the mask man. As he did not know who he ishe kills somebody else who claimed to be the Krrish. Now the actualKrrish chases Naseer who uses helicopter to escape. Krrish runs, jumps,flies, crawls, swims and reaches the hideout of Naseer. Naseer againsees the future. What a pity - he is killed again in the future.Krrish, with his superpowers, kills Naseer. Krrish, Rohit &Priyanka come to that village. Rekha still has that old computer whichRohit used in 2003-04 (It still works in 2025). Rohit switches it on.He presses some 2-3 buttons and presses the Enter Key (If you pressthat key then that means everything is correct). He gets response fromthe aliens, that too, immediately. Does this mean that aliens are therein the sky? Because the time gap between the Enter and the response isfraction of a second. Light cud not have travelled beyond moon. Are thealiens always waiting for Rohit to give input and immediately respond?

With all these questions in mind I came out of the theatre. I thenthought why not leave these bugs out and think only about other partsof the movie. That was also not good. On the whole, this is a moviewhich is worth a miss. If I can get back my ticket money I would bevery happy.
