Our very own homegrown Superhero Krrish( Hrithik) decides to take on the venomous invalid Kaal( Vivek Oberoi) and his porcelain skinned mutant Kaya( Kangna) while trying to juggle between odd jobs, superhero rescue missions, a doting wife( Priyanka) and a genius father( old Hrithik). Will he come out flying?
Well, you know the answer already. Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish & Krrish3 - the deterioration in quality of the story & screenplay is directly propotionate to the progress in VFX. It's all high end computer graphics that look quite real and if only that can keep you hooked then go for it, otherwise Krrish 3 lacks logic, starts with a bang but freefalls into a deep rut of cliches, hamming side actors, unconvincing characters, average music & insipid dialogues.
Direction of a visionary like Rakesh Roshan can only go so far in perfecting a story that hinges on illusion of visual effects but he definitely fails to give you a cinematic experience beyond the flying superhero, falling buildings and an intricate sci-fi empire of a wannabe villain who does not look even half as menacing as say a Sanjay( Kabir Bedi) from Khoon Bhari Maang or even Thakur Durjan Singh( Amrish Puri) of Karan Arjun - both his own masterpieces that tore into the box-office and made space in audience's hearts without any "special" effects.
At a budget of 100 crore, 'Krrish 3' is an indulgence that should be avoided unless you want to test how much of a visual effect victory can a Bollywood film achieve.
