A lot nicer than I have expected. Review on Krakow

I went to Krakow, Zakopane and Katowice 2 weeks ago for 5 days. Poland has always been in my wish-list. Thanks to the cheap flight by Wizz air, my dream has finally came through.

I landed at Katowice Airport which is 100 kilometers away from Krakow. If money is not your problem, you can also fly to Balice Airport which is only 9kilos from the city(Airport code KRK).The transfer is 10euro per person, and I was so glad that the van still waited for me even my flight was 2 hours delayed.

1 thing you have to be aware of when you come to Krakow is that their bus system information is not merged with google map so the google map would not show your tram or bus connectivity.

The transportation cost depend on long you stay on the system(20/40/60minutes)

The price in Krakow is very very cheap for food but not for shopping. However, you are expected to give 10-15% tip at the restaurant. The food that you must try is the Polish dumpling. The one that I like has cheese inside.

We did not go Auschwitz due to the heat at the period. But we went to Schindler Factory. There was very very long queue. I was consumed by the horror of the war.

If you travel with flixbus, delay is expected since the roads in Poland are still being built.

We went to Zakopane in the South which is 15degrees cooler than the Netherlands at that moment:)
