The breeze, the cozy shamianas, the dim lighting and all of this on a rooftop in south Mumbai overlooking the sea and the Taj is simply surreal.
They have got a large space and they have used it nicely with different seating arrangements interspersed in that space.There is even a good view point overlooking the Arabian sea.
The music at this restaurant is a bit confusing.In the two hours, I could hear Arabic, English as well as Hindi music with different tunes and didn't suit the theme.
This is all about the ambiance and now lets get into the crux of the matter.the food.
We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Nawabi Paneer Tikka for starters.Both were nicely prepared.
Dal Makhni in the main course was very good but Paneer Makhni was not up to the mark and was ordinary.
Go for their Tandoor and Nawabi recipes as those seem to be their strength.
