Worst Experience with Kotak Personal Loan Dept.

*This is the worst experience I had in my entire life. I would never recommend any one to take any kind of service or product from KOTAK. I was called so many times for this personal loan by DSAs. At Last I said yes to it and gave my documents. After around 15 days they got back to me saying that my loan has be approved and they want my permanent address proof. I made my dad fax the electricity bill. Then I waited for 5 days for someone to get back to me. After making so many calls, they said the loan has been approved but they need my wife’s id proof. I asked for reason, they said, just for documentation, I gave them that also.


Then after again 5 or 6 days later, the credit manager or the processing dept calls me up with the DSA on conferences and says that they want co-applicant. I asked for reason, they said the DD is issued and they are waiting to dispatch it. I was informed that the processing fees was 1% and no other extra charges. I was made to sign on the sanction letter which stated that the processing fees is 1% and no other extra charges apart from that. Later the DSA and processing dept changed that sanction letter and forged my signature without my notice and prepared a new sanction letter and forced me to sign the co-applicant and then sent the DD after deduction of additional charges without informing me in prior.


When I called up the DSA manager and the tele caller, they said they are not interested in speaking to me and hung up the call. When I called the credit manager, no one picks up the call. When I asked the credit manager’s co-worker for the cell number of the credit manager, they refused to give the same and hung up.*


I have the proof, (my post paid mobile bill) which shows how many calls I have made to that dept and DSA.


I have accepted the DD, but this is not the end. I will make sure, that I take this forward to the media and I don’t mind spending the loan amount to show common public that Kotak Frauds with customers, If no action is taken by higher authorities of the Bank.
