My dad holds an account in the Kotak Mahindra Bank, and every time I went to deposit money, it takes too much time for each customer to deposit their money. I am having an account in the BOI bank, and if there are 10 to 20 people also, standing in the line to deposit money, then also it hardly takes 15 to 20 minutes.
This is today's scenario, 12th September, 2017, I was standing in the line to deposit my 4000 rupees into my Dads account. There were around 8 to 10 people standing in front of me to deposit the money. There were 2 counters, from one of which the employee was not there from 2 days, don't know why. And the one women, was standing and collecting cash from the customer, then going on another counter to complete their own work, then again some third employee giving some cheques to her, then again she doing his work. Then after completing the cheques work, that employee women was again to the other counter to do the remaining work, and coming to her main counter and giving the stamped slip to the same customer who was standing from the start, the one I told that he gave his money and then the women went to another counter. This took nearly 15-20 minutes. Guess how much time would I needed to stand there if my number was 9th in the line.
This is the worst service provided by the bank staff. I am talking about Virar, Mumbai branch. I don't know about the other branches. Comment below if you know. Besides this, I only like the internet banking service very much.
