I have a Savings Account in Kotak Mahindra bank. Due to non maintenance of Quarterly Balance. They Charged me 4500 rs. Customer Relationship Manager called me up and asked to Deposit 10, 000 Rs to avoid Deduction. In the Month of December I had Deposited 17k in this Account and now they still charged me 1123.60 for non maintenance of Quarterly Balance. Never seen a bank charging this Huge Amount.
I did called up Customer Care people and they were in a Confusion to answer my Questions. Finally I got to know a Great Response from Kotak People. They said I have to maintain a Minimum Balance of 10k. If I hadn't maintained the same balance for One day, then 1123.60 will be Deducted from My Account.
