Very bad customer service in Kotak Mahindra Bank..

Hi All,


This is regarding Kotak Mahindra Bank, while creating account, they are okay with any type of document, however when I had asked for address change  it has lot of process. Yes Process is good for everyone, however when the account holder himself want to change his address then they can take the authorization letter from customer and company where the person is working and change the address because finally it's a corporate account, but they have not agreed for the same.


Initially when I called up to customer care, they told come up with Rent agreement, when I prepared rent agreement and went to branch office, there one employee of branch office is saying, he don's know what customer care told me, I have to submit house owner's photo ID proof and my PAN card xerox copy, then I had submitted both, also one of the executive from Kotak  bank accepted the same, promised me that it will be done with in 3 days, however that employee told me, they will try the best and execute it with in 2 days.


I have not got any update till 2 days then I had called up again and at that time branch office executive is saying it was rejected by their concern department and I have to submit one signed photo ID proof of my House owner which should have signature of my house owner also,  and after I submit that it will take 3 days, I had submitted that as well and it's 5th day I am still waiting for  address update, when I am calling and asking them, they are saying please wait sir we are coordinating with our concern team it will be done by EOD, now It's EOD and when I had called again they said they are trying and I have to wait...


Even though bank may be trying to satisfy customers fully, only because of this frustration process it's a hell for me now.....


I had already decided to change my account to some other bank and also suggesting friends to go for a bank which provides friendly service and believe on customer's written statement ....


I suggest you to not to go with Kotak Bank, if you are staying in a rented house......
