Kotak Trump card is the best. Review on Kotak Mahindra Bank Visa Credit Card

This is my first review in mouthshut and I want to write review on kotak trump card that I am so impressed with it. and I saw only more -ve reviews then +ve reviews. Every card will have its drawback. But this has many advantages(compared to other cards).

First of all it will give 10% cash back directly on our spends at restaurants and movie halls. I compared many cards and none of the cards which charge some annual fee didn't have this feature. I am almost saving some 2000rs per year. If I got points for spending I will not get a more than 500 points in a year for my spending. They also waived the surcharge on railway booking and petrol filling(only for above 400rs).. This is the only card I found best in the market.

You will get on the spot sms to our registered mobile whenever we swiped the card (some banks will only send for large amounts like more than 10000 but I am getting for small amounts like 500 rs also from kotak)

Another thing is they don't charge anything if the cheque is dishonoured(not bounce..) some banks will change if the cheque is dishonoured too. Last month I wrote the year as 2008 instead of 2009., so my cheque got dishonoured.First they charged me some 500rs + st., but when I called their customer care and informed them they reverted the charges within two days.

I got an sms immediately from them informing me that the cheque is dishonoured and make some alternate payment by which I paid the amount in time and avoided the late fee.(once the same thing happened for me with citibank., but they didnt informed me through sms or email.. I only came to know when the cheque was mailed back to me by my bank.. but when I raised this issue with citybank they waived the late fee charges)

But the tracking procedure are too extreme.. I changed my communication address and they came to the new address for enquiry(some banks will change the address without any enquiry if you are a old customer). (This card is very useful to those who spend more at restaurants(like me) but its not if you shop too much for which you wont get any reward points)
