I opened my account with Kotak due to 6% gimmick. That is true but only above 1 lakh average balance. Fair enough. No issues with it.
Problem started when I tried to avail a scheme offered by them. Purchase protection scheme on platinum ace account.
I had my salary account with them as a platinum ace salary account. Scheme suggests that if u purchase anything from that card that thing will be insured for 3 months.
I bought a phone and unfortunately it got lost.
Now the bad phase began. I have been made to run from pillar to post to get myself heard.
They simply dnt hear what ever u say. Wherever u say.
I have tried mail, visiting branches, tweeting to @udaikotak @kotakmahindrabank . nothing worked.
They will just not hear.
It's OK that I lost the phone and it's my bad luck. But prob is they have offered the scheme upfront. I dint asked.
And now when I am asking to hear me they should respond.
I feel if you get in some trouble with them . they will never respond.
Their departments just play among themselves.
